日本人は、古来より自然の中に生かされてきました。「山・川・海」は畏敬の対象でもあり、私の創り出す作品は、最終的に土へ還ることを前提としています。草花は、芽が出て蕾をつけ花を咲かせます。そして、やがては散って大地の肥やしとなります。人も常ではありません。 いい時もあれば悪い時もあります。これから制作していく中で、人間の原点を見つめ直す事が出来る、そんな作品であったらと思っています。

Since ancient times, Japanese people have thrived in Nature. The mountains, rivers, and seas have long been subjects of awe and reverence. Plants produce sprouts from whose buds flowers then bloom. Before long, they wither and fall, becoming fodder for the earth. In this way, humans are no different. It can be said that with good times also come bad times. With this in mind, my works also are presumed to be reduced, eventually and once again, to the soil. Through their creation, I hope to evoke a reconsideration of the human origin.
